Responsibilities
The Vassar City Council is the City's legislative body. It sets policies, approves budgets, determines tax rates and adopts ordinances and resolutions to govern the City. The Council appoints and supervises the city manager. The City Council also appoints citizen volunteers to advisory boards and commissions.
The City Council meets the first Monday of each month at 7 PM at City Hall. Vassar City Hall is located at 287 East Huron Avenue, Vassar.
